Blog Post 38 - Behind The Scenes (Photos)

During my first recording, both me and my mom made a whole bunch of behind the scenes content, both to post on my blog, and to be featured on my Instagram. Photos include reading over the script, me directing, and filming. Video’s include asking the actors about their parts, bloopers, and vlog style content.

For this next instagram post, I decided to showcase the behind the scenes photos of the recording day. I had 13 photos to choose from, and settled on 4, which all together show off the three qualities of photos I just mentioned. Behind the scenes photos like these should get people interested in the filming process of the work. By showcasing script reading, the directing, and actual recording, audiences can better understand the work it takes to create films like this. It's also fun to be able to recognize a specific scene being shot after already watching the completed work, since you will be able to compare the process and the final product together.

In the photos app, and the Instagram app itself, there are many features to edit your photos. Since some photos that I wanted to include for their clear visuals and composition were a bit dark due to angles and lighting, I brightened them up using the editing features. Again, I used my flufflesproductions and kyliecatshortfilm tags in my description, as well as some based on filming, such as “filmingday” and “behindthescenes” to be relevant to the topic of the post. Also in the description of my post, I once again thanked my actors for coming out to record and for being in my team.
