To further my Instagram marketing, more announcements need to be done first. Here, I will be going over my creation process for my film festival announcement, as well as my interview announcement.
Starting off with film festival. People aren’t going to know that Fluffles Productions is “attending” a film festival, and that Kylie-Cat will be screened there if its not advertised, which is the reason for making this announcement. With a base that is visually similar to my cast list, I made a simple image that states that my minor project will be shown at this theoretical film festival. I didn’t want to change up the announcement style too much, as keeping a similar theme all throughout my posts will help with keeping up a cohesive brand. I made sure to use both official graphics for the Kylie-Cat title, as well as the Brain and Heart Film Festival logo to keep up with both sets of branding.
To add a bit more of some content so the announcement isn’t so plain, I added another image to this post, featuring our one and only Oreo Meow Meow-Mittens Burgos (yes thats her real full name). I edited the image slightly to have the background behind Oreo blurred to keep focus on her, like I did before on my first announcement. On the free space in this image, I dedicated a place to where I could thank the Film Festival for allowing Fluffles Productions to screen the short film, as well as thanking our current fans. It also left just enough room to add the Fluffles Productions logo for one more bit of branding.
Now for the interview announcement. As of making the image, my recording for Travis’ interview had already been done, so I used a screen shot of one of the angles he was filmed in for the interview, as a sort of sneak peek of the final video. Speaking about sneak peeks, like how additional content was shown in Dove Cameron’s interview, I plan to do a similar thing for my interviews with tiny clips of the final film and other behind the scenes images. To stir curiosity and excitement, I made sure that this was something I advertised in the announcement. Looking in the comments of my 3rd post, behind the scenes content is taken well, so it's something I should be sure to continue using occasionally.
Back to the announcement, I further added excitement by telling who would be interviewed, as well as some of the topics that will be covered (these details specifically will be covered in a future post.) Once again, I made sure to keep up with this same style I have going for announcements, with a consistent font usage and color palette, and made sure to feature the Fluffles Productions logo.
